The Clavesana Wine Festival

The Wine Festival is the spring event where Cantina Clavesana (the Produttori in Clavesana) celebrates the new vintages of its wines. It takes place in the municipality of Clavesana, a small hillside village in the Province of Cuneo, Piedmont, at the cooperative's headquarters in Frazione Madonna della Neve. It is a well-established event in the Langhe wine calendar, attracting hundreds of enthusiasts and curious visitors every year.

A cooperative that symbolizes the Langhe

The Produttori in Clavesana have been operating for over sixty years, thanks to the work of more than two hundred wine-growing families. Today, the winery is a benchmark for Dolcetto and Dogliani DOCG in the Langhe, but its range also includes Langhe Nebbiolo and the sparkling wines of Alta Langa DOCG. The Wine Festival was created to share this heritage directly through the voices of the producers and cooperative members.

Three days of wine and conviviality

The event spans three days, from Friday to Sunday. It begins with a cultural moment, often a screening dedicated to the memory and traditions of the region; it continues with the grand Friendship Dinner, which blends Piedmontese and Ligurian cuisine; and it concludes on Sunday with non-stop cellar tours, free guided visits, and tastings of the new vintages.
