Wine & Blues: A celebration of wine and music in Castelluccio dei Sauri
In the heart of summer, the small town of Castelluccio dei Sauri, in the province of Foggia, transforms into an open-air stage dedicated to two great passions: blues music and wine. Wine & Blues is one of the most anticipated highlights of the Apulian summer calendar known as Sauri Summer. Promoted by the Municipality alongside the local Pro Loco, the event reached its thirteenth edition in 2025.
Live music and tastings
The formula is simple and engaging: blues notes accompany the evening while tasting stalls featuring local wines and typical Capitanata products line the town's squares and open spaces. It is an informal and convivial way to discover local food and wine, glass in hand, in a relaxed atmosphere that brings together both residents and visitors.
A key part of Sauri Summer
Wine & Blues is not an isolated event; it is part of the rich Sauri Summer program, which enlivens Castelluccio dei Sauri from July to September with concerts, singing festivals, the patronal feast, open-air cinema, photography exhibitions, sports tournaments, and workshops for all ages. The municipal administration's stated goal is to make the town a landmark for summer in the Capitanata region, and this evening dedicated to wine and blues has become one of its most iconic events.

Behind Wine & Blues is the hard work of the Castelluccio dei Sauri Pro Loco, which has managed the event for over a decade. Admission is free, as with most Sauri Summer events, confirming the festival's popular and welcoming spirit. Wine & Blues is expected to return to Castelluccio dei Sauri in the summer of 2026, confirming its status as a staple of the Sauri Summer. How to get there
Castelluccio dei Sauri is easily accessible by car via the A16 motorway and the road network connecting Foggia to the Capitanata hinterland. The nearest railway station is in Foggia, about twenty kilometers away, from where you can continue by car or local transport.
Admission
Admission is free. Wine and food tastings are paid for on a per-consumption basis at the stalls set up for the occasion.
