The White Night of Authors of Noceto

The White Night of Authors is the evening that illuminates the historic center of Noceto, a municipality in the province of Parma in Emilia-Romagna, transforming streets and squares into a widespread path of craftsmanship, flavors, and entertainment. Organized by the local promotion association Ortocolto APS with the patronage and contribution of the Municipality of Noceto, the event offers a formula that combines the quality of handmade products with a village festival, in a welcoming and family-friendly atmosphere.

The artistic craft market

The heart of the evening is the artistic craft exhibition-market, with selected artisans and vendors whose stalls wind along the streets of the center: Via Gramsci, Via Matteotti, Via Vittorio Veneto, Piazza Repubblica, and Piazza Garibaldi. Ortocolto APS specializes in promoting excellent craftsmanship and typical products, often set up in gardens, architectural complexes, or little-known places in the Parma area.

Taste, entertainment, and music

• Street food and craft beer: in Piazza Repubblica, an area dedicated to the best food trucks and craft beer to accompany the evening.
• Entertainment for all ages: the show "Psycho Chicken" with Tato Svitato, aka Fausto Giori.
• Traditional games: the initiative "Si Gioca", with old-fashioned games, inside the Rocca.
• Live music: from 9:00 PM, the overwhelming energy of the Boom Band in concert.

An event for the village

The White Night of Authors is designed to make the hearts of adults and children beat faster and to rediscover the center of Noceto in a festive guise. Admission is free, and the event represents a showcase for artisanal creativity and the vibrancy of a community in the lower Parma region, just a few kilometers from Parma and the Via Emilia.
