Every year in late June, the historic center transforms into a vibrant festival hub: streets, squares, and courtyards fill with stalls, lights, music, and visitors, making it one of the most popular festivals in the Trentino-Alto Adige region.

The secret to Vòlti alla Luna is the strong sense of community that fuels it. The event is organized by the Pro Loco of Roverè della Luna with the involvement of local associations and over a hundred volunteers who set up and manage the stalls along the route. The result is an authentic, participatory event where the entire village comes together to welcome guests in a festive and genuine atmosphere.
Flavors of the Rotaliana
Gastronomy is a true star of the festival. Visitors can choose from a wide range of traditional menus and local dishes at the various stalls, perfectly paired with the renowned local wines of the Piana Rotaliana—a premier wine-growing area in Trentino and the home of Teroldego. Stalls remain open for lunch and late into the evening, turning the village streets into an open-air culinary trail.

Evenings are defined by live music: various stages throughout the village host tribute bands, cover bands, pop and rock performances, and DJ sets, keeping the atmosphere buzzing until late at night. Vòlti alla Luna 2026, the 22nd edition
The 22nd edition of Vòlti alla Luna was held from Friday, June 26 to Sunday, June 28, 2026, in the historic center of Roverè della Luna, in the Piana Rotaliana (Trentino). The event involved over 150 volunteers and local associations in setting up and managing the stalls distributed throughout the village's streets, squares, and courtyards.
Program and events
The inauguration on Saturday, June 27, was accompanied by a parade of the Mezzocorona Band and the presence of local and provincial authorities. Over the three days, visitors enjoyed food stalls with traditional menus and local wines, evening concerts with tribute and cover bands, pop and rock nights, DJ sets, four exhibitions in the historic center, and numerous activities for children, including bouncy castles and face painting. On Sunday, June 28, the 4th edition of the Stra-volti alla Luna, a non-competitive mini-marathon open to all, took place.

Getting there
Roverè della Luna is located at the northern end of the Piana Rotaliana, in the province of Trento. By car, take the A22 Brennero motorway (exit San Michele all'Adige-Mezzocorona) and continue along the SS12. By train, the nearest station is Mezzocorona on the Trento-Bolzano line, which is connected to the village by local buses.
Entry and hours
Admission to the event is free. Food stalls are open for lunch and until late at night; exhibitions can be visited in the late afternoon and evening. Food and drinks are available for purchase at the stalls.
