ViVigliano, the festival that kicks off the Vigliano summer

Every year, at the beginning of June, Vigliano Biellese celebrates its most beloved festival: ViVigliano. Promoted by the Municipality and organized with passion by the Pro Loco of Vigliano Biellese, the event transforms the heart of the town—the Piazza Martiri Partigiani event area—into a large open-air stage for two weekends. It is one of the events that best captures the spirit of this town in the province of Biella, Piedmont: simple, welcoming, and deeply community-oriented.

Two weekends of music, entertainment, and conviviality

The idea behind ViVigliano is to celebrate the start of the summer season together. The evenings, running from Friday to Sunday for two consecutive weekends, offer a program designed for all ages: musical performances, DJ sets, live bands, expressive theater, sports activities, and much more. In past editions, the square has hosted youth orchestras, tribute bands, talent shows, and big-screen broadcasts of major sporting events, confirming the festival's ability to bring different generations together.

The Pro Loco food stand

The convivial heart of the event is the Pro Loco food stand, open every evening from dinner time onwards: you can eat in the square while enjoying local Biellese specialties and take advantage of the bar service between concerts. This is perhaps the true secret of ViVigliano: the festival combines the pleasure of good food with the joy of music and being together.

A free town festival

ViVigliano is a completely free event, designed for the people of Vigliano but open to anyone who wants to spend a few early summer evenings in the Biella area. Its growth, edition after edition, has made it a landmark in the summer calendar of Vigliano Biellese and neighboring towns.
