A Christmas village in the heart of Afragola

ViviAmo il Natale in Afragola is the series of Christmas events promoted by the Municipality of Afragola, in the Metropolitan City of Naples, Campania. During the holidays, the Municipal Pine Forest on Viale Cristo Re—the city's only large green lung, located behind the Basilica of Sant'Antonio—is transformed into a true Christmas village, brought to life by shows, music, games, and attractions designed especially for the little ones.

The 2025-2026 holiday program

The event spans five days that guide the city from Christmas through to the Epiphany, with free activities suitable for all ages:

• December 21 – The Elves' Village: The official opening, featuring inflatable rides, street performers, and the festive atmosphere of the Christmas Band (10:00 AM – 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM).
• December 24 – Santa Claus arrives in the snow: An evocative Christmas Eve with entertainment, shows, and jugglers (10:00 AM – 5:00 PM).
• December 31 – Children's New Year's Eve: A special way to welcome the New Year with a Christmas DJ set, live shows, and a non-alcoholic toast dedicated to the kids (10:00 AM – 5:00 PM).
• January 4 – Waiting for the Befana: Games, shows, and a lottery draw (10:00 AM – 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM).
• January 6 – Grand Epiphany Festival: The grand finale with the harmonies of a gospel choir and a bubble show (10:00 AM – 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM).

A Christmas for families

The initiative was created to offer Afragola families moments of togetherness and serenity, celebrating local traditions and culture. Between rides, entertainment, live music, and the magic of Santa Claus's arrival, the Municipal Pine Forest becomes a meeting point for children and citizens of all ages, in a festive atmosphere that combines entertainment and conviviality.
