The widespread Christmas village of Casoria and the Arpino district

Casoria and Arpino Now Christmas is the festive program through which the Municipality of Casoria, a populous town in the northern area of Naples in Campania, lights up the month of December. It is not just a single event, but a true widespread Christmas village that involves both the main town and the Arpino district, with two parallel calendars designed to bring the holidays to the entire community.
The heart of the celebrations in Casoria beats at Parco Michelangelo, where wooden chalets, decorations, and an ice rink are set up alongside music, entertainment, and shows. In Arpino, the hub is the Villa Comunale on Via Benedetto Croce, transformed into a child-friendly space with a Christmas funfair, creative workshops, and visits from Santa Claus. A symbolic moment is the lighting of the grand tree in Piazza Cirillo, which officially kicks off the festivities.
The schedule alternates between activities dedicated to children and evenings for everyone: DJ sets and Santa's sleigh, elf workshops for making decorations, folk music, cabaret, local school performances, puppet shows, and magic acts. The festivities conclude with the Befana Festival and the traditional New Year's Eve toast in the square.
Conceived by the municipal administration as an opportunity for social gathering and the rediscovery of public spaces, Casoria and Arpino Now Christmas aims to give citizens a local, free, and participatory neighborhood Christmas that unites the town center and the district under the same lights. An initiative that has grown in recent years to become a fixed appointment on the city calendar in the province of Naples.
The detailed program for the 2026 edition has not yet been released. Based on previous editions, the event is expected to take place throughout the month of December across Parco Michelangelo, the Villa Comunale of Arpino, and Piazza Cirillo, featuring markets, wooden chalets, festive lights, an ice rink, and shows for children and families. The official dates and schedule will be announced by the Municipality of Casoria in the weeks leading up to the holidays.
Events take place primarily at Parco Michelangelo and Piazza Cirillo in Casoria (80026, province of Naples) and at the Villa Comunale on Via Benedetto Croce in the Arpino district.
Casoria is served by the Casoria-Afragola railway station on the line to Naples and by the metro; by car, it is accessible via the Asse Mediano and the A1 motorway. Naples is approximately 10 km away.
The event is free of charge. For the updated program and schedules, please consult the official channels of the Municipality of Casoria.
