For four days, the municipality of Beinasco, in the province of Turin, hosts the Viva Mexico Festival, a touring format that travels across Italy, sharing the flavors, culture, and energy of Mexico. After numerous stops in Italian squares, the festival arrives for the first time in this town on the southern outskirts of the Piedmontese capital, transforming Piazza Danilo Dolci into a lively open-air Mexican village.
Authentic Gastronomy
The heart of the event is Mexican cuisine, showcased in food stalls where traditional dishes are cooked on the spot. From spicy flavors to traditional recipes, the menu is designed to satisfy every palate: gluten-free and vegan options are also available, ensuring everyone can enjoy the culinary experience. On Thursday, the festival opens in the afternoon/evening, while on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, the gates remain open from lunchtime until midnight, allowing you to experience Mexico at any time of the day.

The Viva Mexico Festival stopped for the first time in Beinasco, in the province of Turin, from May 7th to 10th, 2026. Piazza Danilo Dolci hosted food stalls for four days featuring traditional Mexican dishes cooked on the spot, accompanied by Mexican cocktails and beers.
The program alternated between live mariachi music, show cooking sessions, and workshops and entertainment for children, with menus also available in gluten-free and vegan versions. Admission was free throughout the event.

How to get there
Beinasco is located approximately 11 km southwest of Turin, in the Metropolitan City. By car, it can be reached via the Turin ring road (Beinasco exit). By public transport, several bus lines connect Beinasco to the center of Turin. Piazza Danilo Dolci is located in the town center.
