Visioni Verticali is the Potenza Film Festival, an event that every December brings the best of independent Italian and international cinema to the capital of Basilicata. Founded to provide a platform for emerging directors and new talents, the festival features short films, features, documentaries, and animated shorts, accompanied by masterclasses, talks, and guests from the audiovisual world.

The festival takes place at the Cineteatro Don Bosco and the Teatro Stabile in Potenza. Among the most significant collaborations is that with the Giffoni Film Festival, a national benchmark for children's cinema. Promoted by the Associazione Culturale Polimeri, the event is supported by the Ministry of Culture and endorsed by the Basilicata Region, Lucana Film Commission, the Province of Potenza, and the University of Basilicata.
