Classic car and motorcycle exhibition and swap meet in Caltagirone
The Vintage Motor Expo is the go-to event for celebrating the charm of historic vehicles in Caltagirone, the famous city of ceramics in the province of Catania, in the heart of Sicily. For an entire weekend, the event brings together collectors, clubs, racing teams, and enthusiasts united by a shared passion: classic cars and motorcycles, authentic pieces of history that tell the story of design and engineering evolution.
The heart of the event is the large static display of classic, sports, and collectible cars and motorcycles. Alongside the four- and two-wheeled vehicles, icons of Italian motoring take center stageโfrom Vespas to Lambrettasโjoined by vintage bicycles, scale models, and retro toys that evoke the atmosphere of days gone by.
A significant area is dedicated to the swap meet, featuring original spare parts, accessories, and memorabilia related to the world of motoring: a key reference point for those hunting for that elusive part or looking to complete their collection.
The expo is open to owners of historic cars, motorcycles, and vehicles, as well as teams, clubs, spare parts dealers, and anyone with an interest in scale modeling and vintage cycling. The atmosphere is that of a large, convivial gathering where sharing one's passion is just as important as the vehicles on display.
A UNESCO World Heritage site known for its Baroque center and world-renowned ceramics, Caltagirone provides the ideal backdrop for an event that weaves together historical memory and popular culture. The "Don Pino Puglisi" Sports Hall on Via delle Industrie offers ample exhibition space and easy accessibility for visitors and exhibitors from across Sicily.
Entry to the Vintage Motor Expo is free, allowing families, curious onlookers, and enthusiasts to experience the world of classic motoring up close.
