The vintage car rally in Sant'Albano Stura, through the roads of the Cuneo area
The Vintage Car Meeting is a vintage car rally held in Sant'Albano Stura, a small town in the Province of Cuneo, in the heart of Piedmont. Every year, the event brings together dozens of historic vehicles from across the region for a day entirely dedicated to a passion for motoring, social connection, and exploring the Cuneo territory.
The event was born in 2025 through the initiative of a group of young vintage car enthusiasts, all in their early twenties, from Sant'Albano Stura and nearby Fossano. Their simple, genuine idea grew quickly: the first edition attracted dozens of crews, and the community's enthusiasm encouraged the organizers to continue the event, with numbers growing steadily. The Vintage Car Meeting has thus become a source of local pride, capable of uniting different generations around the charm of classic cars.
Crews gather in the morning at Piazza dei Caduti in Guerra in Sant'Albano Stura, where the historic cars are displayed for the public to admire. From here, a touring route begins, winding through the roads and countryside of the Cuneo plains, with several characteristic stops:
The Vintage Car Meeting is not a competition, but a celebration of engines and friendship. Amidst the roar of vintage engines, polished chrome, and the timeless lines of cars that made history, the rally offers a free spectacle for enthusiasts and families gathering along the route and in the town squares. The parade through the villages of the Cuneo area turns a spring Sunday into a journey through time, while showcasing the towns and landscapes of southern Piedmont.
Located along the Stura di Demonte stream, Sant'Albano Stura is a town in the Cuneo plains that maintains a strong rural identity and a lively community life, animated by the Pro Loco and numerous volunteer organizations. The Vintage Car Meeting fits perfectly into this fabric, combining a passion for historic vehicles with the promotion of the local area and its flavors.
The second edition of the Vintage Car Meeting was held on Sunday, May 24, 2026, in Sant'Albano Stura, with a gathering in Piazza dei Caduti in Guerra starting in the morning.
The edition recorded a record turnout, with over 100 crews of historic vehicles, significantly exceeding the initial goal of about 80 cars set by the organizers. After the display and registration, the cars set off for the traditional tour through the Cuneo area: a stop in Piazza Castello in Fossano, an aperitif in Marene, and a lunch at the Parco degli Olmi in Sant'Albano Stura, organized with the support of the local Pro Loco.
