About Vinòforum

Vinòforum is Rome's premier event dedicated to wine and fine dining. From September 7 to 13, 2026, the stunning setting of Piazza di Siena, in the heart of Villa Borghese, will host the 23rd edition: over 800 wineries and consortia from across Italy, approximately 3,200 labels for tasting, nightly masterclasses, signature dinners by top chefs, and the grand finale of La Città della Pizza. Seven evenings to discover the finest oenological and gastronomic excellence of Italy in the Capital's most elegant setting.

Vinòforum, wine takes over Villa Borghese

Every September, Vinòforum transforms Piazza di Siena, in the green heart of Villa Borghese in Rome, into Italy's largest stage dedicated to wine and haute cuisine. Established in 2004, the event has become an unmissable appointment for enthusiasts, professionals, and curious foodies alike who wish to explore the world of fine food and wine in a uniquely scenic environment. The 23rd edition is scheduled from September 7 to 13, 2026.

Record-breaking numbers

Vinòforum is, first and foremost, a massive showcase for Italian wine: over 800 wineries and consortia from every region are expected, with approximately 3,200 labels available for tasting at the booths. Alongside wine, the event highlights extra virgin olive oil, premium cheeses like Parmigiano Reggiano, and artisan pizza, in a journey that weaves together tasting, culture, and education.

Masterclasses, signature dinners, and top chefs

The beating heart of the event is the Wine Top Tasting series, masterclasses held twice nightly that guide the public through the discovery of Italian and international wineries, denominations, and wine regions. These are complemented by Temporary Restaurants, where dozens of eateries offer their signature dishes, exclusive The Night Dinner events, and Pizza d'Autore paths curated by master pizza makers. There are also dedicated spaces for education, with introductory courses on wine and extra virgin olive oil.

La Città della Pizza

Among the most anticipated events is the final of La Città della Pizza, the national competition that rewards new talents in the art of dough: on the final evening, emerging young pizza makers compete for the title of Pizza Maker of the Year before a jury of experts and the public.

An event in Rome's green living room

Strolling through the tasting booths at sunset, glass in hand, against the backdrop of the famous 19th-century Piazza di Siena hippodrome, is an experience that blends taste with beauty. Vinòforum is much more than a fair: it is a widespread celebration that enlivens the late summer evenings of the Capital and confirms Rome as one of the food and wine capitals of Lazio and Italy.
