The Corte Coppedè Market is a staple of the Roman weekend: every Saturday and Sunday, from September to June, the courtyard of the Chiesa Argentina (Santa Maria Addolorata), at Via Tagliamento 6, transforms into an open-air lounge dedicated to quality craftsmanship, small antiques, and collectibles. We are in the heart of the Coppedè district, one of the most surprising corners of Rome, in the Lazio region.

Designed by the Florentine architect Gino Coppedè between 1915 and 1927, the district is a triumph of Art Nouveau style mixed with medieval, Baroque, and Art Deco influences. A few steps from the market, you will find the scenic Fountain of the Frogs in Piazza Mincio, the Palazzo del Ragno, and the famous Villini delle Fate, with turrets, arches, and decorations that look like they came straight out of a fairytale. Strolling among the stalls is also a chance to discover a one-of-a-kind architectural heritage.
