An open-air museum in the heart of Roseto

Every summer, the Villa Comunale of Roseto degli Abruzzi transforms into an exceptional exhibition space thanks to Villa in Arte. This exhibition, promoted by the Municipal Administration, brings world-class art to the avenues, halls, and gardens of this historic park overlooking the Adriatic. Created to place culture at the heart of city life, the event has established the Villa as one of the most vibrant artistic hubs in the province of Teramo and along the entire Abruzzo coast.

The 2026 edition: The Rosini Gutman Collection

The fourth edition, scheduled from July 10 to September 6, 2026, is dedicated to the prestigious Rosini Gutman Collection, one of the most significant private collections of modern and contemporary art in Italy. On display are over sixty works that trace a full century of art history: from the Futurism of Giacomo Balla to Dadaism and Surrealism, through Pop Art and conceptual art, all the way to the digital and virtual experiments of today.

The exhibition features some of the greatest figures of the 20th century, including Giorgio de Chirico, Amedeo Modigliani, Marcel Duchamp, Salvador Dalí, Yves Klein, Joseph Beuys, Man Ray, Robert Rauschenberg, Piero Manzoni, Andy Warhol, Jean Tinguely, Niki de Saint Phalle, and Mark Kostabi. It is a journey that allows visitors to explore the avant-gardes and movements that defined contemporary art, all within the stunning setting of the Villa.

Immersive art and catalogue

One of the elements that makes this exhibition unique is its focus on new technologies: the show is accompanied by a dedicated app that allows for a virtual and immersive exploration of the works, appealing to younger audiences as well. The exhibition is curated by Gianfranco Rosini, heir to the collection, and Elisabetta Cuchetti, with a catalogue published by IconArs. The event is further enriched by appearances from guests in the worlds of art, music, and culture.

Villa in Arte has become a staple of the Roseto summer and an opportunity to discover not only the art but also the charm of the Villa Comunale and the Roseto degli Abruzzi seafront.
