The Radio Deejay sports and music village on the beach of San Vito Lo Capo
Every summer, the Vertical Summer Tour transforms the beach of San Vito Lo Capo, in the municipality of the same name in the province of Trapani, into a massive village dedicated to sport, music, and fun. Promoted by Radio Deejay, the traveling tour visits Italy's most popular seaside resorts and historically stops in San Vito Lo Capo as one of the final and most anticipated events of the season, set against the backdrop of the famous beach dominated by Monte Monaco and overlooking the Gulf of Castellammare.
The heart of the event is the Maxi Village, covering over 3,000 square meters, set up directly on the beach with free admission. The space remains open throughout the weekend, from morning until evening, offering a continuous flow of activities suitable for all ages, from children to adults.
In the evening, the beach lights up with DJ sets and disco beach parties: the village turns into an open-air dance floor filled with lights, special effects, and the music that made Radio Deejay famous. Over the years, the San Vito Lo Capo stop has hosted well-known faces from the Italian dance scene, with moments designed to keep both residents and tourists dancing until late at night.
San Vito Lo Capo is one of the most renowned tourist destinations in western Sicily, famous for its white sand, crystal-clear sea, and the culinary tradition of Cous Cous. Hosting a stop of the Vertical Summer Tour means combining a beach holiday with a free entertainment program in a town that enjoys an intense season of sports, musical, and cultural events during the summer. The festival is an opportunity to experience the beach in an active and social way, dedicated to sport, music, and community.
From August 21 to 23, 2026, the Vertical Summer Tour makes another stop on the beach of San Vito Lo Capo (TP). For three days, the free-entry Maxi Village of over 3,000 sqm will host sports tournaments on the sand, water activities, fitness classes, group dances, entertainment, and evening DJ sets with the music of Radio Deejay.
The detailed program for the 2026 stop and the names of the musical guests have not yet been officially announced: they will be communicated in the weeks leading up to the event on the tour's official website and the municipality's channels. The event confirms the free and all-ages-friendly formula that has made it one of the most beloved stops on the Sicilian coastline.
