Three days of traditional games and social moments
The heart of the event lies in its playful and participatory spirit. The days feature a mix of foosball tournaments, sack races, tug-of-war, and the famous Staffetta dei Rioni relay race, which pits the pride of different town neighborhoods against each other. Great attention is paid to children, with dedicated activities such as 'capture the flag', face painting, and a cycling trial organized in collaboration with a local sports club. The event also features street dinners, stalls selling local and artisanal products, and music to liven up the evenings.

Beyond the fun, Uliveto in Festa maintains a strong bond with the town's religious and popular traditions: the bingo organized by the Parish and the procession from the Church of the Santissima Annunziata highlight the community and devotional dimension of the festival. These are complemented by historical re-enactments and folklore, such as the demonstrations by crossbowmen, which evoke the historical flavor of a territory deeply linked to Pisa and its province.

The 2026 edition of Uliveto in Festa was held from April 18 to 20 in Uliveto Terme, a district of Vicopisano, with Parco Sandro Pertini as the heart of the event and numerous activities spread throughout the town's streets, starting from Via Nazionale. The program confirmed the village festival formula, consisting of games, sports, conviviality, and tradition, with special attention given to families and children.
Among the most anticipated moments were the Staffetta dei Rioni relay race, the 80s-90s themed street dinner, the cycling trial for children, the demonstration by the Compagnia Balestrieri di Pisa, the parish bingo, and the procession from the Church of the Santissima Annunziata. A three-day event that renewed the bond of the Uliveto Terme community with its own traditions.
