Thirty years of jazz in the heart of Udine

Udin&Jazz is one of the historic jazz festivals in northeastern Italy. Founded in the early nineties and curated by the cultural association Euritmica, it transforms Udine into a meeting point for enthusiasts and musicians from all over the world every July. The 33rd edition, in 2026, confirms a winning formula: major evening concerts in the spectacular setting of the Piazzale del Castello, overlooking the hill that dominates the city.

A lineup of international stars

The 2026 program brings together some of the most important protagonists of the global jazz and contemporary scene. The festival opens with guitarist Pat Metheny (July 2, 9:30 PM, Piazzale del Castello) and continues with Kurt Rosenwinkel Group, Matteo Mancuso, Baba Sissoko, Jacob Collier accompanied by the Naonis Orchestra, and Marcus Miller with the project We Want Miles!, a tribute to the centenary of Miles Davis's birth. A lineup that ranges from classic jazz to the most daring fusions.

The magic of the Castle

The choice of the Piazzale del Castello as the main stage is one of Udin&Jazz's distinctive features: the audience listens to great music with the city of Udine at their feet and the profile of the 16th-century castle behind them. A setting that alone is worth the trip and makes every concert an experience, not just a listening session.

A festival rooted in the territory

Promoted by Euritmica with the support of the Municipality of Udine and the Autonomous Region Friuli Venezia Giulia, Udin&Jazz is an integral part of Udine's cultural summer and interacts with other city events.
