About Turin Wine Salon

The Turin Wine Salon is a major oenological event that transforms the striking OGR venue in the Piedmontese capital into an immersive journey through glasses, labels, and producers each year. With over 500 wineries, thousands of wines to taste, dozens of free masterclasses, and a food area featuring local gastronomic excellence, it is an unmissable appointment for enthusiasts and professionals alike, celebrating the extraordinary wine heritage of Piedmont and all of Italy in the heart of Turin.

The major wine event in Turin

The Turin Wine Salon is one of Northern Italy's most significant wine events, hosted in the spectacular OGR Torino - Officine Grandi Riparazioni on Corso Castelfidardo, in the heart of the Piedmontese capital. Launched in 2022, the event has grown with every edition to become a benchmark for the wine world, attracting thousands of enthusiasts and industry professionals from across Piedmont, Italy, and abroad to the city of Turin.

Over 500 wineries under the vaults of the OGR

For three days, the repurposed industrial spaces of the Officine Grandi Riparazioni welcome over 500 wineries and thousands of labels for tasting. The core of the selection is Piedmontese wine, with its great reds and whites, accompanied by a national representation and the so-called "First Generation" wineries: young ventures started by first-generation winemakers that showcase a new vitality in the Italian wine scene.

Masterclasses, talks, and food area

The program offers more than 50 free masterclasses led by experts and sommeliers, as well as in-depth talks and meetings with industry creators and media. Alongside the wine, the food area highlights Piedmontese gastronomic excellence in collaboration with the "Maestri del Gusto" (Masters of Taste) of Turin and its province, featuring chef-led offerings, cheeses, artisanal chocolate, and local products.

  • Thousands of wines from all over Piedmont and Italy available for tasting
  • Over 50 free masterclasses included with entry packages
  • "First Generation" section dedicated to new wineries
  • Food area with "Maestri del Gusto" and zero-km specialties
  • B2B day reserved for industry professionals and international buyers

An event for enthusiasts and professionals

The weekend is dedicated to the general public of wine lovers, while the final day is reserved for industry professionals, featuring international buyers from Northern Europe and the UK. The main event is also surrounded by a rich calendar of widespread events, the "Salone OFF," with dozens of appointments scattered across the city of Turin in the preceding weeks.

Turin, capital of Piedmontese wine

As the institutional heart of the Piedmont Region, Turin provides the ideal setting for an event that celebrates one of the territory's absolute excellences. Between the Langhe, Monferrato, Roero, and other renowned zones, Piedmont is one of the most prestigious wine regions in the world, and the Salon represents its most comprehensive and popular city showcase.

Over 500 wineries, thousands of labels for tasting, more than 50 free masterclasses, the new "First Generation" section, and a large food area with Piedmontese excellence enlivened the event, which closed with over 19,000 total attendees.
