Three days of tastings at the OGR with over 500 wineries from Piedmont and Italy
The Turin Wine Salon is one of Northern Italy's most significant wine events, hosted in the spectacular OGR Torino - Officine Grandi Riparazioni on Corso Castelfidardo, in the heart of the Piedmontese capital. Launched in 2022, the event has grown with every edition to become a benchmark for the wine world, attracting thousands of enthusiasts and industry professionals from across Piedmont, Italy, and abroad to the city of Turin.
For three days, the repurposed industrial spaces of the Officine Grandi Riparazioni welcome over 500 wineries and thousands of labels for tasting. The core of the selection is Piedmontese wine, with its great reds and whites, accompanied by a national representation and the so-called "First Generation" wineries: young ventures started by first-generation winemakers that showcase a new vitality in the Italian wine scene.
The program offers more than 50 free masterclasses led by experts and sommeliers, as well as in-depth talks and meetings with industry creators and media. Alongside the wine, the food area highlights Piedmontese gastronomic excellence in collaboration with the "Maestri del Gusto" (Masters of Taste) of Turin and its province, featuring chef-led offerings, cheeses, artisanal chocolate, and local products.
The weekend is dedicated to the general public of wine lovers, while the final day is reserved for industry professionals, featuring international buyers from Northern Europe and the UK. The main event is also surrounded by a rich calendar of widespread events, the "Salone OFF," with dozens of appointments scattered across the city of Turin in the preceding weeks.
As the institutional heart of the Piedmont Region, Turin provides the ideal setting for an event that celebrates one of the territory's absolute excellences. Between the Langhe, Monferrato, Roero, and other renowned zones, Piedmont is one of the most prestigious wine regions in the world, and the Salon represents its most comprehensive and popular city showcase.
The fourth edition of the Turin Wine Salon was held at the OGR in Turin from Saturday, February 28, to Monday, March 2, 2026. Saturday opening from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Sunday from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM for the general public, while Monday, March 2, was reserved for industry professionals and international buyers.
Among the year's novelties were the "First Generation" section, dedicated to young wineries run by first-generation winemakers, and a food area curated with the "Maestri del Gusto" of Turin and its province, featuring the participation of Michelin-starred chefs. The event concluded with over 19,000 visitors, more than 2,000 participants in the weekend masterclasses, and approximately 2,000 accredited professionals.
The OGR Torino are located at Corso Castelfidardo 22, in a central and well-connected position. By train: Torino Porta Susa station is just a few minutes' walk away. By subway: XVIII Dicembre or Porta Susa stop. A partnership with GTT is active for city public transport.
Entry includes tasting packages, each featuring a free masterclass, a cashless wristband, a wine glass, and a glass holder bag. Purchase online via the official ticket office on the Salon website.
We recommend booking the most popular masterclasses in advance and checking the updated program on the official website. For those arriving from out of town, there are special agreements with hotels affiliated with Federalberghi.
