The Trofarello White Night
Every year in late June, the center of Trofarello, a town in the southern metropolitan area of Turin in Piedmont, lights up for its White Night. It is the festival that officially kicks off the Trofarello summer: an evening where shop shutters stay up well past closing time and the streets of the center fill with people until late at night.
A vast open-air venue
Along Via Torino, Piazza I° Maggio, Via Gioberti, Viale della Resistenza, and other central streets, a long route unfolds, featuring curated stalls, local exhibitors, hobbyists, painters, and regional agricultural producers. Visitors can stroll among crafts and local delicacies, stop by food stands, and sample street food for every taste, paired with Piedmontese craft beers, all while encountering musical performances and small shows between one shop window and the next.
A festival for the whole community
The White Night is designed to appeal to all ages: younger visitors find music and entertainment, families can stroll in safety, and shopping enthusiasts take advantage of special opening hours and exclusive deals. The event is organized by the Trofarello Municipal Administration in collaboration with the Pro Loco and local merchants, with a robust security plan involving the municipal police, civil protection, Alpini, and firefighters to ensure a peaceful evening.
When and where
The event takes place in the historic center of Trofarello, in the Metropolitan City of Turin, on an evening in late June. Traffic is restricted on the affected streets to make room for pedestrians, stalls, and stages, returning the heart of the town to its residents and visitors for a few hours.

La 17ª edizione della Notte Bianca di Trofarello torna sabato 27 giugno 2026. La serata sarà interamente dedicata alla comunità, con i negozi del centro aperti fino a tarda notte, mercatini di artigianato e prodotti tipici, stand gastronomici e numerosi artisti pronti ad animare le vie del centro con esibizioni di ogni genere.
L'evento è promosso dall'Amministrazione comunale di Trofarello insieme alla Pro Loco e ai commercianti del territorio.

Il programma dettagliato della 17ª edizione, con orari, artisti e dislocazione degli stand, sarà annunciato dal Comune di Trofarello nelle settimane precedenti l'evento (tipicamente a giugno). Sulla base delle edizioni precedenti, la serata prende il via in prima serata e si articola lungo le vie del centro con negozi aperti, mercatini, artigianato e prodotti tipici, street food, birre artigianali piemontesi, musica dal vivo e spettacoli itineranti per tutte le età.

How to get there
Trofarello is located along the main road connecting Turin to Chieri, just a few kilometers from the regional capital. It can be reached by car via the Turin southern bypass and by train on the Turin-Fossano line (Trofarello station).
Traffic
During the White Night, a traffic ban is in effect in the center: the streets typically affected include Piazza I° Maggio, Via Gioberti, Viale della Resistenza, Via Torino, and Via Don Masera. Alternative routes pass through Via Montegrappa, Via Garibaldi, Via Togliatti, and Via XXIV Maggio. It is advisable to arrive early and park in areas outside the pedestrian zone.
