The outdoor, sports, and wellness festival in the heart of Vallagarina
The Trentino Experience Festival is the annual event held every May that celebrates sports, the outdoors, wellness, and local discovery in the municipality of Mori, in Vallagarina, the heart of Trentino-Alto Adige. Originally launched in 2019 as the Vallagarina Experience Festival in Rovereto, the event moved to Mori for its eighth edition, uniting complementary territories like Garda Trentino, Vallagarina, and Monte Baldo into one massive open-air experience.
The heart of the festival lies in the dozens of free guided experiences and excursions (with online registration) that depart every morning and afternoon toward the area's most stunning locations. The range of activities includes:
Beyond sports, the festival offers a rich entertainment program in Piazza Cal di Ponte and Mori Park: live concerts, DJ sets, slackline shows, aerial performances, magic, and fire shows. There is also the Wellness Agora, featuring talks dedicated to women's health, adolescence, spirituality, and longevity medicine, alongside a large mindfulness area for sunrise yoga and meditation immersed in nature.
With its kids' area, an expo area dedicated to travel, wellness, outdoor gear, and gourmet food, organic specialties from Val di Gresta, and completely free admission, the Trentino Experience Festival is designed for an audience "from 0 to 100+ years old." It is a unique opportunity to experience the authentic Trentino and discover Vallagarina through sports, nature, and conviviality.
The 2026 edition, the eighth of the festival and the first in the municipality of Mori, took place from May 22 to 24, 2026 in Piazza Cal di Ponte. Friday evening opened with comedian Lucio Gardin, the Noche Latina by Mariano Bruseghini, and the FANUM Disco Revival of the 80s and 90s. On Saturday and Sunday, from the early morning, dozens of free guided experiences set off: MTB Enduro, e-MTB, gravel, trekking toward Monte Creino and the historic trenches, forest bathing, Nordic walking, trail running, and night via ferrata on Monte Albano.
The entertainment program was packed: live concerts (Crossroads Band, Rokko Band, PABLONOREX, Quandomai), GenZ DJ sets, slackline shows, aerial and fire performances, as well as the Wellness Agora and a large kids' area. Free admission and local gastronomic specialties from Val di Gresta were confirmed.
Mori is located in Vallagarina, just a few minutes from Rovereto. By car: A22 Brennero motorway, exit at Rovereto Sud, then follow signs for Mori. By train: Rovereto station on the Verona-Brennero line, with bus connections to Mori.
Admission to the festival is free. Excursions and most guided activities are free but require online registration on the official website and on-site check-in at the SportNature Travel stand.
A free camper area is available, along with several refreshment points offering local products and an interactive geolocated map of the trails.
