In Piana Crixia, a municipality in the Province of Savona in the Bormida Valley, the Trade and Craftsmanship Fair is a historic event that has enlivened the town for decades at the start of summer. Organized by the Pro Loco, it spans ten days between the end of June and the beginning of July, making it one of the longest-running events in the Savona hinterland.
Fair, Funfair, and Dancing
The fair brings together commercial and craft exhibitors, with stalls animating the town center. Accompanying it are a funfair with travelling shows for all ages, a dance floor for evening dances, and a food stand with local specialties and beer service. A mix of commerce, entertainment, and good food that attracts visitors from all over the valley.
Piana Crixia, Between Badlands and Nature
The village is famous for the Piana Crixia Regional Natural Park, with its striking badlands and the "stone mushroom," a unique geological formation. The fair is an opportunity to discover this corner of the Ligurian hinterland, where the fair tradition combines with the beauty of a surprising landscape, on the border between Liguria and Piedmont.

For 2026, the Trade and Craftsmanship Fair in Piana Crixia is expected for its 42nd edition, with the usual ten-day format straddling late June and early July (starting traditionally on the last Friday of June).
The Pro Loco is bringing back the commercial and craft exhibitors, the funfair with travelling shows for all ages, the dance floor, and the food stand with local specialties and beer service. Precise dates will be announced by the Municipality and the Pro Loco closer to the event.

How to get there
Piana Crixia is located along the Bormida Valley, accessible from the A6 Turin-Savona motorway (Millesimo or Altare exits) or via the state road towards Acqui Terme.

Free. Food and drinks payable at the food stand.
