Vintage tractor parade and country lunch in the San Michele district of Bricherasio
The Tractor Rally and Country Lunch of the Friends of San Michele is one of the most cherished spring events in Bricherasio, a town in the Pinerolo area of the province of Turin, in the heart of Piedmont. Organized by the Friends of San Michele group in collaboration with the Pro Loco, the event takes place in the San Michele district and combines a passion for agricultural mechanics with the conviviality of a country feast.
The heart of the day is the parade that winds through the town streets: dozens of tractors gather and proceed in a procession to the Pro Loco headquarters in Piazza Don Vittorio Morero. The parade showcases vehicles from every era, from glorious 1930s historical tractors to powerful contemporary models. In recent editions, the rally has exceeded 130 tractors, a record result for an event that has grown year after year from an initial forty vehicles.
During the rally, awards are presented in numerous categories, celebrating the spirit of the local farming community:
After the parade, the festivities continue with the country lunch prepared by the Pro Loco, the true highlight of the event. The menu offers the authentic flavors of Piedmontese cuisine: from appetizers like smoked beef with arugula and cherry tomatoes to vegetable flan with cheese fondue, sausage ragรน tagliolini, and mixed grilled meat with side dishes, dessert, coffee, and house wines. The lunch takes place regardless of weather conditions and has attracted over three hundred guests for years.
More than just a gathering of agricultural machinery, the event is an identity-defining festival that celebrates the rural roots of Bricherasio and the entire Pinerolo area. The participation of entire families, with multiple generations driving their own tractors, tells the story of the deep bond between the community and the land. Today, the Friends of San Michele Rally is an unmissable appointment in the spring calendar of the province of Turin.
The 2026 edition of the Tractor Rally and Country Lunch of the Friends of San Michele was held on Sunday, May 3, 2026, in Bricherasio, Turin, setting a new record with 130 tractors in the parade.

Among the award winners: the oldest tractor, a 1936 Landini Velite, and the most recent, a Same Dorado 75 registered just days before the rally; awards also went to the most powerful vehicle, a 305-horsepower Fendt, and the largest family group, with six drivers.
The parade arrived at 11:30 AM at the Pro Loco headquarters in Piazza Don Vittorio Morero, where the country lunch took place from 12:30 PM. Prices: 25 euros for adults, 13 euros for children aged 5 to 10, free for children up to 4 years old.
