Tiarno Fest is the most anticipated summer event in Tiarno di Sopra, a village in the Municipality of Ledro, located in the Garda Trentino area of the Province of Trento (Trentino-Alto Adige). Every year, on a warm Sunday in August and the preceding evening, Piazza della Chiesa becomes the hub of a community celebration that brings together residents, holidaymakers, and visitors to Val di Ledro, just a stone's throw from the crystal-clear waters of Lake Ledro.

A Pro Loco Tradition

The event is organized by the Pro Loco Tiarno di Sopra, the association that has kept the village's social life vibrant for decades. In 2025, Tiarno Fest reached its 28th edition, a testament to a continuity rooted in the desire to bring people together around local flavors and traditions. Over the years, the festival has grown to become a staple of the summer calendar in the upper Val di Ledro.

Trentino Flavors and Gastronomic Tour

The heart of the festival is the gastronomic tour, which celebrated its twenty-second edition in 2025: a culinary journey through the streets and refreshment points of the village, where you can savor traditional Trentino and Ledro dishes. The event also features an opening aperitif, dinner under the theater tent, and convivial moments that accompany the entire celebration.

Neighborhood Games and Music

Tiarno Fest is also a celebration of village spirit: on Sunday afternoon, the neighborhood games take place—playful challenges and skill tests that involve the local districts in a spirit of healthy competition. Music accompanies the entire event, from the Saturday DJ set to the ballroom dancing on Sunday evening, creating a festival that brings all generations together.
