About Storo Chestnut Festival

Every December 8th, on the Feast of the Immaculate Conception, the Pro Loco Storo M2 brings Piazza Europa to life with the Chestnut Festival: roasted chestnuts, hot mulled wine, entertainment, and Christmas workshops for children. It is a festive day blending autumn flavors with the charm of Christmas markets in the heart of the Chiese Valley, Trentino. A traditional event organized alongside local associations, filled with the aroma of roasted chestnuts and mulled wine.

The Storo Chestnut Festival, a Feast for the Immaculate Conception

On December 8th, the Feast of the Immaculate Conception, the center of Storo lights up with the colors and scents of autumn thanks to the Chestnut Festival organized by Pro Loco Storo M2. The event takes place in Piazza Europa, in the heart of the municipality of Storo, one of the main hubs of the Giudicarie and Chiese Valley in the province of Trento (Trentino-Alto Adige).

Chestnuts, Mulled Wine, and Autumn Flavors

The stars of the festival are the roasted chestnuts, served hot from the stalls and paired with the essential mulled wine that warms visitors on the chilly days of early December. The Chestnut Festival is a convivial gathering that draws families and curious visitors alike, offering the simple, genuine atmosphere typical of Trentino village festivals.

A Program for Families and Children

The Pro Loco Storo M2 enhances the day with entertainment and Christmas workshops designed for children, who can enjoy creative activities in anticipation of the holidays. The event coincides with the local Christmas markets, providing the perfect opportunity for a stroll among the stalls to pick up early Christmas gifts.
