Summer evenings in the heart of Terlano

The Terlano Summer Nights are a series of summer evenings that, during the warmest months of the year, transform the Festplatz (Festival Square) in Terlano/Terlan into an open-air lounge. The event is organized by the Terlan Tourist Association (Tourismusverein Terlan) and is part of the calendar of events that animate this municipality in the Autonomous Province of Bolzano, along the South Tyrolean Wine Road, every summer.

The formula is simple and successful: live music, good food, local wines, and cocktails, all in an informal and convivial atmosphere. As evening falls, the square fills with residents and holidaymakers, who gather for a few hours of celebration with an aperitif, a light dinner, and live concerts. It is a classic event that showcases South Tyrolean hospitality: relaxed, well-curated, and capable of blending rural tradition with the desire for social connection on summer nights.

An event spread throughout the summer

The Summer Nights are not a single event but a cycle of appointments distributed between June and September. The dates follow one another at regular intervals, usually on Thursdays, offering those staying in Terlano and the surrounding area multiple opportunities to participate. Each evening features a different band on stage, ensuring the musical program changes every time, spanning various genres and proposals designed for a wide audience.

Terlano is known throughout Italy primarily for its long-lived white wines, and it is natural that local food and wine play a leading role in these events as well: alongside the music, there is space for local specialties and products from area producers. For visitors, it is also an opportunity to discover the village, nestled among the vineyards and apple orchards of the Bassa Atesina, just a few kilometers from Bolzano.
