Ten days dedicated to mindful wellness in the Tesino Valley
The Ten Days of Wellness is a summer festival held in the Tesino Valley, in the upper Valsugana area of the Trento province (Trentino-Alto Adige region). The initiative is promoted by the Tesino Ecomuseum - Land of Travelers, a cultural organization that showcases the territory of the three municipalities of Castello Tesino, Pieve Tesino, and Cinte Tesino, with the support of the Valsugana Tourism Board. For ten consecutive days at the end of August, the valley transforms into an open-air laboratory dedicated to psychophysical well-being, slow living, and the rediscovery of the mountains.
The core theme of the event is mindful wellness: gentle physical activity, moments of relaxation, and deep dives into holistic disciplines are woven together to rejuvenate both body and mind. The program, spread across various locations in the valley, typically features:
Activities take place in diverse settings, from the meadows and woods of the valley to historic churches and Ecomuseum spaces, offering an experience that combines movement, silence, and listening.
The festival was born from the strong identity of a valley historically known as the land of travelers, due to the centuries-old tradition of print merchants who set out from here to reach all of Europe. This vocation for encounter and exchange is reflected today in the hospitality of the Ecomuseum, which, through the Ten Days of Wellness, promotes slow and sustainable tourism that fosters dialogue between locals and visitors.
The event is aimed at those seeking a rejuvenating holiday, enthusiasts of yoga and holistic disciplines, mountain and hiking lovers, or simply anyone wishing to spend a few quiet days among the towns of Castello Tesino, Pieve Tesino, and Cinte Tesino. The event is coordinated by the Tesino Ecomuseum, which publishes a detailed program with dates, times, and participation details each year.
For the 2026 edition, scheduled from August 20 to 30, the Tesino Ecomuseum offers ten days dedicated to psychophysical well-being and the authentic discovery of the mountains. The calendar alternates between Hatha Yoga sessions, guided hikes through trails and woods, meditation meetings, thematic workshops, and an evocative Gregorian and harmonic chant concert.
Activities are spread across several locations in the Tesino Valley, in a natural setting that encourages relaxation and contact with the mountains. Coordination is handled by Silvia Fattore for the Tesino Ecomuseum; the detailed program with times, locations, and registration methods can be downloaded from the official website.
Castello Tesino can be reached by car from Valsugana (SS47) by heading up towards the Tesino plateau; the nearest train stations are Borgo Valsugana or Grigno, on the Trento-Venice line, from where you can continue by bus or car. The most convenient airport is Verona.
The detailed program, including activities, times, locations, and booking methods, is published on the Tesino Ecomuseum website (ecomuseodeltesino.it). The Tesino Valley offers hotels, farm stays, B&Bs, and other accommodations in the municipalities of Castello Tesino, Pieve Tesino, and Cinte Tesino, ideal for staying during the entire festival.
