Cantina Cenci Tour and Tasting

A wine tourism experience in the heart of Valsugana

The Cantina Cenci Tour and Tasting is a recurring event that welcomes enthusiasts and curious visitors every Saturday morning at the Cantina Cenci in Castelnuovo, a small town in the Lower Valsugana in the province of Trento, in the heart of Trentino-Alto Adige. Part of the APT Valsugana events calendar, the activity combines a vineyard tour with a guided tasting of the estate's wines in a cozy, family-run atmosphere.

The winery and the territory

Founded in 2016 by Silvia and Valentino Cenci after over a decade of passion for viticulture, Cantina Cenci is located in Ceggio, surrounded by about four hectares of vineyards among the valley's apple orchards, at the foot of Monte Civerone. It is a true "boutique wine workshop" and represents the first producer of Trentodoc in the Lower Valsugana. The owners personally oversee every stage, from grape cultivation to bottling and labeling.

The tasting

The meeting point is at 9:00 AM on Saturdays at the winery. After a walk through the rows of vines (weather permitting), guests settle into the tasting area on the upper floor to sample the estate's labels:

• Trentodoc Brut Nature and Trentodoc Brut (Chardonnay grapes)
• Trentodoc Rosé (Pinot Noir)
• Mountain Chardonnay

The experience lasts about three hours and is available in Italian, English, and German. A minimum of five people is required, and booking is mandatory.
