Sunset in the Castle – Tasting FVG is the major event that inaugurates the concert season in Udine. The setting is breathtaking: the Castle square, which overlooks the city from above, where music and lights come alive at sunset for an unforgettable evening.
Music and flavors together
The winning formula combines two souls: on one hand, great international dance music, with world-renowned guests and DJ sets that follow one another until night; on the other hand, food and wine tastings from Friuli Venezia Giulia, with wines from regional wineries paired with local gastronomic offerings. For those seeking an exclusive experience, there is also dinner on the panoramic terrace of the Casa della Contadinanza.
A project of the Majano Festival
The event is organized by Pro Majano, the association behind the historic Majano Festival, and represents one of its major previews. Over the years, Sunset in the Castle has become a regular and beloved fixture, attracting thousands of people and showcasing Friuli Venezia Giulia as a land of music, wine, and hospitality.

The 6th edition with Bob Sinclar
On Saturday, May 30, 2026, from 5:30 PM to midnight, the square of Udine Castle hosts the 6th edition of Sunset in the Castle – Tasting FVG. The absolute star is the French DJ and producer Bob Sinclar, an icon of international dance music, who will make the audience dance with his legendary hits like Love Generation and World Hold On.
Alongside him, a series of DJ sets with Pietro Berti, Andrea Lizzio, Manuel Zolli, and Daniel Vitaglia. From 5 PM to 9 PM, there will be tastings with wines from three Friuli Venezia Giulia wineries paired with regional gastronomic offerings, with the option of an Experience dinner on the panoramic terrace of the Casa della Contadinanza.
