About Summernacht Feschtl

The Summernacht Feschtl is an evening summer festival that brings the center of Natz to life every Wednesday on the apple plateau of Naz-Sciaves, in South Tyrol. From July to August, starting at 8:00 PM, South Tyrolean brass bands and Bohemian music groups provide the soundtrack for an open-air evening featuring South Tyrolean delicacies like Tirtlen, local produce stalls, and traditional crafts. A convivial event under the starry sky, certified as a Green Event.

The Summernacht Feschtl in Naz-Sciaves

The Summernacht Feschtl is a series of summer evenings held every Wednesday night from July to August in the center of Natz, in the municipality of Naz-Sciaves (Natz-Schabs in German), located on the apple plateau in the Isarco Valley, in the Autonomous Province of Bolzano, Trentino-South Tyrol. Starting at 8:00 PM, the village transforms into an open-air lounge where locals and visitors gather to share music, flavors, and traditions.

Music and Atmosphere

Each evening features live performances by South Tyrolean brass bands (Musikkapellen) from the surrounding villages and Bohemian music groups, creating the festive atmosphere typical of mountain festivals. This musical backdrop accompanies strolls through the stalls and tastings, in a relaxed, family-friendly setting that makes the Summernacht Feschtl one of the most beloved summer events on the plateau.

Gastronomy and Market

South Tyrolean culinary specialties play a central role: the famous Tirtlen (stuffed fried pastries), along with numerous other Tyrolean dishes, are paired with local beer and wines. Along the village streets, the market stalls offer primarily local products and handicrafts: felt slippers and socks, bags, aromatic herbs, ointments, spirits, and turned wood items.

A Sustainable Event

The Summernacht Feschtl is a certified Green Event, a recognition that rewards its commitment to environmental sustainability, waste reduction, and the promotion of zero-kilometer products. The initiative is organized by the Naz-Sciaves Tourist Association (Tourismusgenossenschaft Natz-Schabs).

Naz-Sciaves and the Apple Plateau

Naz-Sciaves is famous for its apple orchards, which offer a spectacular bloom in spring and frame the village with green expanses overlooking the Dolomites in summer. The Summernacht Feschtl is the perfect opportunity to discover this corner of the Isarco Valley, just a few kilometers from Bressanone, combining the pleasure of a social evening with the discovery of South Tyrolean folk traditions.

Summernacht Feschtl — edition 2026

Nine evenings starting at 8:00 PM, featuring brass bands from the plateau villages, South Tyrolean specialties, a local market, and traditional crafts. Free admission, certified Green Event.
