The Summer Festival is the main gastronomic festival in Dosso del Liro, a small mountain municipality in the province of Como, overlooking the Alto Lago di Como. Organized by the Gruppo Volontari Dosso del Liro, it takes place in the municipal garden and celebrates the traditional cuisine of the area in a convivial and family atmosphere.

The heart of the festival is the traditional menu: the star is polenta uncia, a symbolic dish of Como mountain cuisine, accompanied by braised beef with porcini mushrooms, tripe, grilled meats, local cheeses and cured meats, and homemade desserts. The 2026 edition of the Summer Festival, the 25th, takes place on June 6 and 7 at the Dosso del Liro municipal garden. On Saturday, the festival opens from 6:30 PM with dinner, while Sunday offers lunch at midday and dinner from 6:30 PM. The traditional menu includes polenta uncia, braised beef with porcini mushrooms, tripe, grilled meats, local cheeses and cured meats, and homemade desserts. Both evenings are enlivened by ballroom dancing with DJ Fabio. The event, organized by the Gruppo Volontari Dosso del Liro, takes place even in case of rain thanks to covered spaces.
