The StreetArt Riva Festival in Biella
Born and raised in the Riva district of Biella, the capital of the province of the same name in Piedmont, the StreetArt Riva Festival has become a landmark for street art lovers. Each edition transforms the historic squares of the district—specifically Piazza del Monte and Piazza San Giovanni Bosco—into a large open-air stage where contemporary circus, clowning, street theatre, and live music alternate over three consecutive evenings.
A free festival for everyone
All shows are free to attend: a choice that has made the festival one of the most popular events of the Biella summer, attracting families, children, young people, and live performance fans. Artists arrive from all over Italy, bringing diverse disciplines to the streets, from aerial circus to juggling, fire shows to beatboxing, and comedy theatre to roving parades.
The Street Art Village
The beating heart of the event is the Street Art Village, set up in Piazza del Monte, which opens every evening at 6:00 PM. Here you will find street food stalls, a chill-out area with a cocktail bar, spaces dedicated to children's entertainment, and performances running until late at night. On Saturday, the festival expands along Via Italia with the Città DelMarket, featuring local producers, artisans, and farm-to-table goods.
Organization
The event is organized by the Ente Manifestazioni Biella Riva, a local volunteer association, with the support of local businesses and Biella institutions. It is one of the most successful showcases of the vibrant summer season in Biella and Upper Piedmont.

The 13th edition of the StreetArt Riva Festival returns to Biella from June 12th to 14th, 2026, confirming its status as one of the highlights of the Biella summer. For three evenings, the Riva district hosts Italian companies and street artists with free shows of contemporary circus, clowning, juggling, beatboxing, and fire shows. Alongside the performances, the Street Art Village in Piazza del Monte offers street food, a chill-out area with a cocktail bar, and plenty of activities for families, while on Saturday, Via Italia hosts the Città DelMarket.

- Gaia Atmen with the contemporary circus show Zenith
Saturday, June 13
- Città DelMarket along Via Italia, from 3:30 PM to midnight: local producers, artisans, and farm-to-table products
- 5:30 PM - free yoga workshop
- Celebration of the 60th anniversary of the Biella Jazz Club
- Daniele Romano with the DJ Gray Show (beatbox, juggling, and comedy)
- Duo Agua with the show CIRCO
- 11:00 PM - final fire show by Madama Scintilla
Sunday, June 14
- 10:00 AM - show at the Belletti Bona Institute
- 6:00 PM - Charleston Parade with the Lucky Peppers
- Meroni Zamponi with Clown Spaventati Panettieri, an award-winning show toured worldwide
Children's entertainment provided by ZooFamily and the duo Mavi & Peppe throughout the event.
