Italian and international street food in the medieval alleys of Bagno di Romagna
Street Food in the Village is the gastronomic event that enlivens Piazza Ricasoli and the streets of the historic center of Bagno di Romagna, in the Province of Forlì-Cesena, Emilia-Romagna, every summer. For three days, the village fills with selected stands and food trucks offering the best of street food: from regional specialties to world cuisines, from artisanal products to the most original creations of contemporary street food.
Bagno di Romagna is a spa town nestled among the ridges of the Tuscan-Romagnolo Apennines, recognized among the "Most Beautiful Villages in Italy" and immersed in the Casentinesi Forests National Park. Its stone streets and medieval atmosphere provide the ideal backdrop for a celebration of taste that dialogues with the flavors of Romagna and those from all over Italy and abroad. Local specialties such as tortelli alla lastra, castagnaccio, and products based on porcini mushrooms and Apennine chestnuts are not to be missed.
Each evening is accompanied by a rich program of live musical entertainment: artists and bands perform directly on the street, in close contact with the public, to create a festive and welcoming atmosphere suitable for families, young people, and tourists. The stands remain open from lunchtime until late evening, with music generally starting around 7 PM.
The Bagno di Romagna event is effectively the summer preview of the Cesena International Street Food Festival, one of Romagna's most renowned gastronomic events. The festival is organized by Confesercenti Ravenna-Cesena with the patronage of the Municipality of Bagno di Romagna and the collaboration of local entities such as the Pro Loco, to enhance the historic center and support the village's commerce. Admission is free.
From July 3 to 5, 2026, Piazza Ricasoli and the streets of the historic center of Bagno di Romagna will host the 2026 edition of Street Food in the Village. For three days, the village will come alive with selected gastronomic stands and food trucks, featuring specialties from Romagna, regional Italian flavors, and international cuisines, accompanied by live music each evening. The event, organized by Confesercenti Ravenna-Cesena with the patronage of the Municipality, offers free admission.
The detailed program with the names of the artists, bands, and participating gastronomic delegations will be announced by the organizers in the weeks preceding the event. Over the years, the festival has hosted cuisines from various Italian regions and countries around the world, as well as typical Romagnolo specialties.
