A day of markets, performances, and workshops in the historic center of Collecorvino
The Spring Festival is the event that welcomes the arrival of the new season in the heart of Collecorvino, a small village in the province of Pescara, in Abruzzo. For an entire day, the town's historic center turns into an open-air village, with streets and squares animated by themed markets, street performances, creative workshops, music, and culinary offerings. The event is organized by the L'Arcobaleno di Cilli Anna association with the patronage of the Collecorvino Municipal Administration.
Along the festival route, you will find stalls featuring crafts, creative items, and themed products, set up for the occasion among the village's stone houses. There is also a dedicated food area, with refreshment points, street food, and craft beers, making the day a complete experience that combines shopping, taste, and conviviality.
The program dedicates ample space to families and children. Activities proposed in past editions include creative workshops, bubble shows, juggling, face painting, baby dance sessions, treasure hunts, and moments of reading and magic. Street performers accompany the public along the center's streets, involving adults and children in a festive and colorful atmosphere.
Collecorvino, overlooking the hills of Pescara between the Adriatic Sea and the Abruzzo mountains, provides an authentic setting for the Spring Festival: the compact village, narrow streets, and small squares become the natural stage for the event. Admission is free, and the event attracts residents and visitors from neighboring towns, helping to promote the historic center and local associations.
The Spring Festival usually takes place on a single spring day, from morning until evening, with entertainment spread throughout the historic center. To find out the dates, theme, and detailed program of the current edition, it is advisable to follow the channels of the organizing association L'Arcobaleno di Cilli Anna and the communications from the Municipality of Collecorvino.
The 2026 edition of the Spring Festival was held on Saturday, April 25, from 10 AM to 8 PM, in the historic center of Collecorvino, with an original Hippie theme that set the tone for the whole day. The village came alive with markets, colors, and music, with free admission for residents and visitors.
The program featured Hippie workshops starting at 11 AM, a treasure hunt, a themed sensory corner, a bubble show, flower and Hippie face painting, baby dance for the little ones, and Hippie tattoos. There was no shortage of craft stalls, a food area, and craft beers. The event was organized by L'Arcobaleno di Cilli Anna with the patronage of the Collecorvino Municipal Administration.
Collecorvino is located on the hills of the province of Pescara, a short distance from the Adriatic coast. By car, it can be reached from the A14 motorway (Pescara Nord or Pescara Ovest-Chieti exits) by continuing inland; the center is about 20 minutes from Pescara. The reference railway station is Pescara Centrale, connected to the town by local bus lines.
Admission to the Spring Festival is free. The event takes place in the historic center of Collecorvino throughout an entire day, roughly from morning to evening.
