Spring Fair

A spring tradition in the heart of Volpiano

The Spring Fair is one of the most cherished events for the community of Volpiano, a town of approximately 15,000 inhabitants located in the plains northeast of Turin, in the Metropolitan City of Turin (Piedmont). Every year, in the first days of May, the historic center transforms into a large open-air festival space: along Corso Regina Margherita, from Porta Ruvey to Piazza Mazzini, and throughout the streets and squares of the center, dozens of stalls attract visitors from all over the Canavese and Turin areas.

Markets, flowers, and local products

The heart of the fair is the large open-air market, with exhibitors dedicated to handicrafts, hobbies, local products, and a rich selection of flowers and plants, perfect for those looking to refresh their gardens and balconies with the arrival of spring. There is no shortage of diverse items and offerings related to the agricultural world, in an atmosphere that combines shopping, strolling, and conviviality.

Exhibitions, music, and gastronomy

Alongside the commercial aspect, the Pro Loco offers a program of cultural and entertainment initiatives. Recurring highlights of recent editions include photographic and art exhibitions set up in the town center, the LEGO brick display from the side event dedicated to modeling, and activities for children. The soundtrack of the day is provided by the concert of the Filarmonica Volpianese, which performs in the early afternoon.

There is also space for good food with the traditional Country Lunch organized by the Pro Loco and food stands featuring Piedmontese cuisine, often accompanied by solidarity initiatives such as fundraisers for charitable associations.

The Spring Fair is much more than a market: it is an occasion where the Volpiano community gathers, local associations showcase their work, and the historic center comes back to life.
