The natural wine and spontaneous fermentation market fair at the Pescara Marina Tourist Port
Spontanea Abruzzo Summer is a market fair dedicated to spontaneous fermentation and sustainability, held at the Pala Becci of the Marina di Pescara Tourist Port, in the city of Pescara, Abruzzo. Born from the commitment of the Slow Food Pescara Convivium, the event is a staple for natural wine enthusiasts, offering the chance to taste, purchase, and meet the winemakers who have chosen the path of ethical viticulture.
More than just a fair, Spontanea is a journey of discovery: a true anthropological and sensory exploration into the world of spontaneous fermentation wines. Visitors can meet producers directlyโartisans of the land who have made environmental responsibility their daily compassโto hear their stories and understand the philosophy behind every label.
At the heart of the event are natural wines that authentically express their connection to their terroir, accompanied by artisanal and local food products. The festival celebrates the bond between the land, ethical viticulture, and the community, highlighting the biodiversity and sustainable farming practices that define the small-scale producers of Abruzzo.
Spontanea Abruzzo Summer is part of the Mediterranea calendar, the major summer showcase that brings the Marina di Pescara Tourist Port to life. The event is enriched by an evening dedicated to the awards ceremony and tasting of the Top Wines from the Slow Wine Abruzzo and Molise guide, organized in collaboration with FISAR, bringing the region's best selected wineries to Pescara.
For those who love conscious drinking and want to discover the most authentic side of Abruzzo's wine scene, Spontanea Abruzzo Summer is an unmissable stop during the Pescara summer.
