The festival of listening
Spazi d'Ascolto is the festival of the Castello di Introd, a municipality in the Province of Aosta overlooking the Gran Paradiso valleys. Born in 2009, it offers every summer three evenings dedicated to listening: music, cinema, drawn theatre, words, and meetings with authors and artists, in a continuous dialogue between art and the alpine landscape.
A unique setting
The medieval manor of Introd and its spaces — the esplanade, the Sala Giustizia, the castle park — serve as a natural backdrop for a program that intertwines different registers: from authorial jazz to image theatre, from book presentations to reflections on major civil themes. It is a festival that makes contemplation and the quality of listening its hallmark, far from large numbers and close to the authentic spirit of the mountains.
A local project
The event is promoted by the Municipality of Introd with the support of the Region of Valle d'Aosta and is curated, artistically, by the cultural association Strade del Cinema, in collaboration with the Gran Paradiso cultural network. Over the years, it has hosted diverse voices from the Italian and international cultural scene, maintaining its identity as an intimate and research-oriented festival.

How to get there
Introd is located along the road that goes from Aosta up towards Valsavarenche and Rhêmes, at the entrance to the Gran Paradiso National Park. The Castello di Introd is in the center of the village.
