The tractor parade in the Rhêmes Valley
The Fiha di Tratteur is one of the most original and charming festivals in the Rhêmes Valley, in the Province of Aosta. The absolute stars are the tractors and agricultural trailers, which parade residents and tourists along the valley's hamlets, from Rhêmes-Saint-Georges to Rhêmes-Notre-Dame, in the heart of the Gran Paradiso National Park.
The journey aboard the trailers is punctuated by delicious stops: during the route, guests enjoy Aosta Valley-style breakfasts, a convivial moment that brings participants together. The parade concludes at the Pro Loco pavilion in Rhêmes-Notre-Dame, where a lunch with a traditional menu celebrates the flavours of the Aosta Valley mountains.
Organized by the association "Gli amici del trattore" (The Friends of the Tractor) in collaboration with the Pro Loco of Rhêmes-Notre-Dame, the Fiha di Tratteur was born from a passion for agriculture and the desire to promote the valley's rural culture. It is a cheerful and popular festival, capable of uniting generations and showcasing, by means of an unusual vehicle, the authentic beauty of the Rhêmes Valley.
The Fiha di Tratteur 2026 renews its cheerful tractor parade in the Rhêmes Valley, with Aosta Valley breakfasts aboard trailers and a typical lunch at the Pro Loco pavilion.
The detailed program and the date for the 2026 edition will be announced by the Pro Loco of Rhêmes-Notre-Dame in the weeks prior. The traditional structure of the day includes:
