The final of the evening vertical running circuit in Aosta Valley
The Soirée Vertikal circuit is a series of evening and mid-week vertical races that, from stage to stage, liven up the summer in Aosta Valley. These are short but extremely intense races: predominantly uphill courses, to be tackled running at sunset, on mountain trails. A format that has won over runners and trail enthusiasts, capable of combining sport, nature, and socialising in the evening hours.
The Sarre stage, named Coumba Perni, is the final of the circuit and takes place on the trails above the village, in the province of Aosta. It is one of the most anticipated events of the season, organised by Technosport Events, and concludes a calendar that touches several municipalities in the region, starting from Étroubles. The races attract hundreds of competitors, and bibs often sell out well in advance.
The Sarre final hosts the Soirée à Couples, a combined ranking dedicated to the memory of Elisa Arlian and Jean Daniel Pession, two young fiancés from Aosta Valley who had competed several times in the Soirée Vertikal events and tragically passed away in 2024. A moment that gives the competition a human and emotional value, in addition to the sporting one, and that perfectly represents the community spirit of the circuit.
On June 10, 2026, the Coumba Perni in Sarre concludes the fifth edition of the Soirée Vertikal circuit, with the final vertical race on the trails above the village, in the province of Aosta. The final hosts the Soirée à Couples, a combined ranking in memory of Elisa Arlian and Jean Daniel Pession. The competition, organised by Technosport Events, features categories for Under 22, Under 44, and Over 45.
The 2026 edition of the circuit has seen great participation since the first stages, with the final bibs selling out in advance.
Final bibs are sold out (registrations closed early). Meeting and start times, rules, and rankings at soireevertikal.it.
