About Sicilia che Produce

For two days, the historic centre of Partinico, in the province of Palermo, transforms into a grand showcase of the Sicily that creates, cultivates, and transforms. "Sicilia che Produce" is a widespread festival spanning streets and squares, where producers, master artisans, and locals meet amidst stalls of typical products, handmade workshops, live music, and moments dedicated to the community's roots. A journey that weaves together food and wine, artistic crafts, and local culture.

A showcase of the Sicily that produces

In the heart of Partinico, a town in the province of Palermo overlooking Western Sicily, the streets and squares of the historic centre come alive for two days with "Sicilia che Produce โ€“ Festival of Flavours and Local Crafts". The event is promoted by the Associazione Sicilia al Centro APS, with the patronage of the Municipality of Partinico and the Regional Department of Productive Activities, and was created to enhance the cultural, gastronomic, and artisanal heritage of this part of the island.

Four thematic areas

The exhibition and scheduled events are organised into four areas designed to engage visitors of all ages:

  • Sicilian Products and Flavours: a food and wine trail dedicated to citrus fruits, preserves, traditional sweets, oils, wines, and specialties prepared according to traditional recipes.
  • Crafts and Tradition: the space for master artisans, featuring ceramics, embroidery, weaving, woodwork, and local artefacts.
  • Music and Shows: live performances, shows, and evening entertainment among the alleys of the historic centre.
  • Culture and Territory: moments dedicated to rediscovering the historical roots of the Partinico community.

A widespread festival

For the occasion, the streets and squares of the historic centre become a meeting place for producers, artisans, residents, and tourists, in a festive atmosphere that celebrates the richness of Western Sicily. More than just an exhibition, "Sicilia che Produce" is intended as an experience of conviviality and discovery, capable of uniting those who cultivate and transform the land with those who preserve its crafts and traditions.

The theme of the 2026 edition

The 2026 edition, scheduled for June 5th and 6th, revolves around the motto "Sicily that creates, cultivates, transforms, and unites": an invitation to experience the territory through its most authentic excellences, from the table to the artisan workshops, and the musical and cultural expressions that enliven Partinico during the event.
