About Senti chi parla

Senti chi parla is the cultural festival of Santena, near Turin, dedicated to social, cultural, and generational themes. Created to bring direct engagement with authors, experts, and speakers to the heart of the community, it offers a series of evening meetings and dialogues at the Enzo Marioni Civic Library. Promoted by the Associazione DAI! in partnership with the City of Santena, the festival blends reflection, listening, and conviviality in an open, free space designed primarily for young people but open to all citizens.

A festival for reading the present

Senti chi parla is the cultural festival that brings Santena, a town in the Metropolitan City of Turin, Piedmont, to life every spring. Born with the goal of placing the great social, cultural, and generational issues of our time at the center of the community, the event offers a series of meetings, dialogues, and testimonies where authors, experts, and speakers engage directly with the public.

The heart of the festival is the Enzo Marioni Civic Library, located in Piazza Visconti Venosta, which transforms into a space for listening and exchange during the evenings. The well-established format features different guests across four sessions, each dedicated to a current topic, in an informal and convivial atmosphere.

Themes at the heart of the dialogue

Each edition addresses urgent, contemporary issues: from migration and identity to inclusion, from the female experience to health and well-being, and even the social withdrawal of young people. These meetings are not lectures, but genuine dialogues led by a moderator who guides the audience through an in-depth exploration of the topics.

  • Stories of migration, identity, and civic engagement
  • The female experience and women's paths in history and society
  • Health, nutrition, and mindful lifestyles
  • The hikikomori phenomenon and youth social withdrawal

A network of local entities

Senti chi parla is promoted by the Associazione DAI! in collaboration with the Enzo Marioni Civic Library, the City of Santena, and ENGIM ETS, as part of a broader project to enhance the local area's cultural value. The festival is designed especially for young people but is open to the entire community: an opportunity to reflect together, listen to diverse voices, and build an inclusive and welcoming space.

Admission and conviviality

All meetings are free to attend until capacity is reached. Some evenings are preceded by a welcome aperitif, a convivial moment that encourages discussion and socialization before the dialogue begins. A simple and direct formula that has made Senti chi parla a highly anticipated date in the Santena cultural calendar.
