A series of meetings, dialogues, and testimonies in Santena
Senti chi parla is the cultural festival that brings Santena, a town in the Metropolitan City of Turin, Piedmont, to life every spring. Born with the goal of placing the great social, cultural, and generational issues of our time at the center of the community, the event offers a series of meetings, dialogues, and testimonies where authors, experts, and speakers engage directly with the public.
The heart of the festival is the Enzo Marioni Civic Library, located in Piazza Visconti Venosta, which transforms into a space for listening and exchange during the evenings. The well-established format features different guests across four sessions, each dedicated to a current topic, in an informal and convivial atmosphere.
Each edition addresses urgent, contemporary issues: from migration and identity to inclusion, from the female experience to health and well-being, and even the social withdrawal of young people. These meetings are not lectures, but genuine dialogues led by a moderator who guides the audience through an in-depth exploration of the topics.
Senti chi parla is promoted by the Associazione DAI! in collaboration with the Enzo Marioni Civic Library, the City of Santena, and ENGIM ETS, as part of a broader project to enhance the local area's cultural value. The festival is designed especially for young people but is open to the entire community: an opportunity to reflect together, listen to diverse voices, and build an inclusive and welcoming space.
All meetings are free to attend until capacity is reached. Some evenings are preceded by a welcome aperitif, a convivial moment that encourages discussion and socialization before the dialogue begins. A simple and direct formula that has made Senti chi parla a highly anticipated date in the Santena cultural calendar.
The fourth edition of Senti chi parla took place in Santena between May 20 and June 13, 2026, with four sessions all moderated by Giulia Miniati at the Enzo Marioni Civic Library.
The calendar alternated between various timely topics, confirming the format of direct engagement between the public and the guests. The festival was promoted by the Associazione DAI! with the Civic Library, the City of Santena, and ENGIM ETS.
