SelberGMOCHT — from the South Tyrolean dialect meaning "self-made" — is a market dedicated entirely to craftsmanship and handmade products, held in the pedestrian zone of Schlanders (Silandro), the main town of the Vinschgau Valley in the Autonomous Province of Bolzano/South Tyrol, Trentino-Alto Adige. Created to give visibility to local artisans and small-scale producers, it has quickly become one of the most anticipated events in the Vinschgau calendar.

Over 75 exhibitors in the heart of the town

For one full day, the pedestrian street of Schlanders transforms into a long trail of stalls: over 75 exhibitors from across South Tyrol are set up from Dammlplatz, through the pedestrian zone, to Sparkassenplatz. Visitors can stroll among the creations and meet the makers directly in a convivial, village-like atmosphere.
