The pop culture festival in the historic center of Savigliano
Savix Comics & Bricks is the festival that brings the universe of contemporary pop culture to the heart of Savigliano, a city in the province of Cuneo, Piedmont, every spring. Comics, manga, anime, cosplay, video games, and the famous LEGO bricks come together for three days of events spread across the squares and historic palaces of the city center. Organized by the Municipality of Savigliano, the event has grown rapidly to become one of the most popular nerd gatherings in the North-West, with an audience exceeding 27,000 visitors.
The winning formula of Savix is its integration into the urban fabric: the entire center of Savigliano is divided into themed areas, each hosted in a square or a historic building. The Main Stage in Piazza Cavour hosts concerts and official ceremonies, while the Media Stage in Piazza Turletti is dedicated to talks, workshops, and guest meetings. The Expo Area stretches between Piazza Santarosa and Via Sant'Andrea with exhibitors of comics, gadgets, and collectibles; the Games Area in Piazza del Popolo brings together board games, role-playing games, and arcade cabinets; and the Artist Alley in Piazza Cesare Battisti hosts designers and illustrators.
The core identity of the event is the Bricks Area, set up in the charming cloisters of the University of Savigliano and in palaces such as Palazzo Taffini and Palazzo Cravetta, where dozens of exhibitors present spectacular LEGO brick constructions. There is also the Japan Area, dedicated to Japanese traditions, culture, and cuisine, and the Cosplay Area, a meeting point for cosplayers ahead of the competition that awards the best costumes.
Thanks to free admission and its setting in the historic center of Savigliano, Savix Comics & Bricks is an event designed for families, young people, and enthusiasts of all ages. The collaboration between the Municipality of Savigliano, local associations, and organizations like Papersera and Linea Cinetica ensures a rich and well-curated program that combines entertainment, culture, and the promotion of Piedmont's urban heritage.
The 2026 edition of Savix Comics & Bricks confirmed the growth of the Savigliano event, with a program divided into eight themed areas distributed throughout the historic center of Savigliano. The inauguration was held on Friday, May 8, at 6:00 PM at Palazzo Muratori-Cravetta, with a themed parade by students of the I.I.S. Cravetta-Marconi and a performance by the Once Upon a Choir.
Guests of the edition included Giorgio Vanni for the closing concert, voice actor and creator Maurizio Merluzzo, Chef Hiro, Federico Cecchin, and Alle Tatto. The main areas animated Piazza Cavour (Main Stage), Piazza Turletti (Media Stage), Piazza del Popolo (Games and Cosplay Area), Piazza Santarosa (Expo Area), and the University of Savigliano (Bricks Area), in addition to the Artist Alley in Piazza Cesare Battisti.
Program spread over three days in the center of Savigliano:
"Monumentini" exhibition by Luca Petraglia (art and architecture in LEGO bricks) at Palazzo Muratori-Cravetta, open until June 28, 2026.
Savigliano is easily accessible by train thanks to the Turin-Savona and Turin-Cuneo railway lines, with the station located a short distance from the historic center. By car, it can be reached from Turin, Cuneo, Asti, Savona, and Genoa. The nearest airports are Cuneo Levaldigi and Turin Caselle.
Admission to Savix Comics & Bricks is free. The event takes place over the weekend, starting with an inauguration on Friday evening and full days on Saturday and Sunday. The themed areas are distributed throughout the main squares and historic palaces of the center.
We recommend reaching the center on foot or by public transport, given the high turnout, and checking the official website for the detailed program and the opening hours of individual areas.
