About Sant'Isidoro Beer

Every July, the Sant'Isidoro Beer Festival brings Sabaudia to life in the heart of the Agro Pontino, featuring four nights of live music, national and international beers, and local culinary traditions. Established in 2009 in the rural hamlet of Sant'Isidoro, the festival celebrates the Venetian-Friulian roots of the local land-reclamation families. The menu highlights the famous Sant'Isidoro sausage, handmade bigoli, and the 'Canadese' sandwich, while the stage hosts a rotating lineup of tribute bands and themed nights. With free admission, a strong sense of community, and a 3-on-3 football tournament, it is a highlight of the local summer.

A community festival in the heart of the Agro Pontino

The Sant'Isidoro Beer Festival is one of the most anticipated events of the summer in Sabaudia, in the province of Latina. Born in 2009 in the rural hamlet of Sant'Isidoro, on the outskirts of the municipality, the event has grown edition after edition into a true city-wide celebration: four consecutive nights in mid-July where beer, traditional cuisine, and live music attract families, young people, and visitors from across the Pontine coast.

The Venetian-Friulian roots of the land reclamation

The festival is deeply rooted in the history of Sabaudia, a 'new town' founded in the 1930s during the reclamation of the Agro Pontino. The farming families who arrived from Veneto and Friuli brought with them recipes and traditions that the hamlet of Sant'Isidoro still preserves today: the Sant'Isidoro sausage, prepared according to a recipe handed down through generations, and bigoli pasta, served with sausage or duck ragรน. A unique curiosity of the festival is the Canadese sandwich, a tribute to the families of the hamlet who emigrated to Canada in the post-war period: a gastronomic bridge between the Pontine plains and overseas.

Live music every night

The festival stage features a free concert every night, with a program that alternates between blues, tribute bands of major Italian music icons, and revival nights. Past editions have featured tributes to Caparezza, Jovanotti, 883, and Rino Gaetano, as well as nights dedicated to the hits of the Festivalbar. Concerts typically start around 9:30 PM, while food stands open early in the evening.

More than just beer: sports, motors, and volunteering

Alongside music and gastronomy, the festival hosts the Sant'Isidoro Beer Trophy, a 3-on-3 football tournament launched in 2025, and collaborates with local organizations such as the Vespa Club Circeo, which hosts an opening rally, and the AVIS blood donor association of Sabaudia. The entire organization is driven by volunteers from the Sant'Isidoro Festival Committee and the SS. Annunziata Parish: this community spirit, even more than the beer, is the true secret of the event.

An event supported by the community

The event is held under the patronage of the Municipality of Sabaudia, the Province of Latina, the Lazio Region, and the Circeo National Park, with the collaboration of the Pro Loco of Sabaudia. Recent editions have also introduced a focus on sustainability, using recyclable materials and initiatives to combat food waste. For those spending their holidays among the dunes of Sabaudia, Lake Paola, and the Circeo promontory, the festival is the perfect opportunity to discover the most authentic and convivial soul of the city.

Sant'Isidoro Beer โ€” edition 2026

The 16th edition of the Sant'Isidoro Beer Festival takes place from July 16th to 19th, 2026, in Piazza Regina Margherita, Sabaudia, at the SS. Annunziata Parish. Four nights of free admission featuring national and international beers, Sant'Isidoro sausage, bigoli, and the 'Canadese' sandwich, with live concerts every night: a blues night with the Cotton Pickers, tributes to Caparezza and Jovanotti, and a grand finale with the Festivalbar's Tribute. The 3-on-3 Sant'Isidoro Beer Trophy football tournament also returns for its second edition.

The 16th edition: tradition, taste, and great tributes

From July 16th to 19th, 2026, the Sant'Isidoro Beer Festival returns to animate the center of Sabaudia, in Piazza Regina Margherita at the SS. Annunziata Parish. The 16th edition confirms the formula that made the event famous: food stands managed by volunteers, a rich selection of Italian and international beers, and a free concert every night.

In the kitchen, the stars are the traditional dishes of the hamlet: the Sant'Isidoro sausage, bigoli with sausage or duck ragรน, and the 'Canadese' sandwich. On stage, the festival kicks off on Thursday with a blues night by the Cotton Pickers, accompanied by the Vespa Club Circeo rally, followed by tributes to Caparezza and Jovanotti, and closing on Sunday with the hits of the Festivalbar. There is also space for sports with the second edition of the Sant'Isidoro Beer Trophy, a 3-on-3 football tournament, and for sustainability, with recyclable materials and initiatives against food waste. The festival is supported by the Municipality of Sabaudia, the Province of Latina, the Lazio Region, and the Circeo National Park.
