The Mezzolombardo Theatre Season

The Cinema Teatro San Pietro in Mezzolombardo, located in the heart of the Piana Rotaliana in the Province of Trento (Trentino-Alto Adige), serves as the stage for the traditional Theatre Season. From November to April, it enlivens the community's evenings with prose, comedy, dance, and family-friendly performances. The festival is promoted by the Municipality of Mezzolombardo in collaboration with Circolo Culturale '78 and the Coordinamento Teatrale Trentino, with the support of the Autonomous Province of Trento.

A program featuring major names and youth theatre

The schedule alternates between a series of subscription-based shows and individual performances dedicated primarily to families and young people. Over the years, the San Pietro stage has hosted leading figures of the Italian theatre scene, alongside local companies and Trentino-based productions. Evening shows typically begin at 9:00 PM, while some events for children are held in the afternoon.

A theatre rooted in the community

The Theatre Season is a well-established highlight of Mezzolombardo's cultural life, boasting a loyal base of subscribers. The Cinema Teatro San Pietro, located in Piazza Pio XII, also hosts weekend film screenings and, during the warmer months, outdoor projections in the courtyard. The venue is fully accessible to people with disabilities.
