The village festival at the foot of the Maritime Alps

The San Pietro in Vincoli Patronal Feast is the annual summer event that brings the residents of Limone Piemonte together to celebrate their traditions. Located in the renowned tourist area of the Province of Cuneo, Piedmont, the festival is held on the first weekend of August. It pays homage to the village's protector saint, whose figure is housed in the charming Romanesque-Gothic parish church of San Pietro in Vincoli on Via Roma, the true spiritual and architectural heart of the village.

Three days of faith and conviviality

The festival weaves together religious devotion with popular, convivial gatherings. The spiritual highlight is the solemn Holy Mass on Sunday morning, followed by the procession of the Patron Saint through the streets of the town center, accompanied by the Limone Folk Group in traditional costume: a pageant that winds through Via Roma and the village squares, involving both residents and tourists.

Alongside the religious celebrations, the program offers the most beloved moments of a village festival: the Scala Quaranta card tournament at the Municipal Meeting Center, the ballroom dancing evening in the square, the treasure hunt for all ages, the petanque tournament, and the unmissable evening polenta feast with musical entertainment.
