Sagra delle Sagre

The 2026 edition of the Sagra delle Sagre, the 61st, is scheduled from August 8 to 16 in the Fornace area, between Barzio and Pasturo. It is the first edition managed by PK Events srls (Enrico Bellano and Marco Bolis), under a three-year contract (2026-2028) from the Mountain Community of Valsassina Valvarrone Val d'Esino and Riviera. The historic formula is confirmed: stands of cheeses, honey, sweets, beers, and local and international typical products, crafts, evening shows, charity lottery, and the Valsassina Livestock Events with the provincial exhibition of Brown Swiss cattle.

The Sagra delle Sagre unfolds over nine days of opening (August 8-16, 2026), with the structure consolidated over the years:

• Every day: fairgrounds with stands of typical products (valley cheeses, honey, sweets, beers), specialties from other regions and abroad, crafts, and natural cosmetics
• Every evening: shows, music, and entertainment, with higher attendance from 7:00 PM onwards
• Valsassina Livestock Events: provincial exhibition of Brown Swiss cattle
• Grand finale (August 16): drawing of the charity lottery and fireworks display

How to get there

The Fornace area is located between Barzio and Pasturo, in Valsassina (province of Lecco). By car: take the SS36 to Lecco, then follow signs for Valsassina; after exiting the Ballabio tunnel, drive through the valley on the SP72 until just before Pasturo, where you turn following signs for the Mountain Community. The event is also served by the Lecco-Taceno bus line.
