A Guitar Evening for Ferragosto

In the heart of summer, when Valbrona fills with holidaymakers and those returning to the village for vacation, the Pro Loco Progetto per Valbrona dedicates the evening of August 15th to an open-air guitar concert. The event, titled Chitarre di Ferragosto, takes place in the recreational area of Via Milano, the municipal space that hosts most of the village's events during the summer.

Between Classical, Jazz, and Flamenco

The musical program combines classical and jazz repertoire, with excursions into Mediterranean and flamenco sounds. In recent editions, the stage has hosted experienced guitarists, capable of moving with ease between original compositions, jazz standards, and pieces by renowned composers. A concert designed to be listened to under the stars, in a relaxed and family-friendly atmosphere.

Valbrona, a Balcony over Lake Como

Valbrona is a small municipality in the province of Como, in Lombardy, overlooking the Valassina valley and a short distance from the eastern branch of Lake Como. Its hamlets, spread among chestnut woods and meadows, make it a popular destination for summer holidays.
