The White Night that closes the summer in the valley
The Notte Bianca (White Night) in Rota d'Imagna is the concluding event of the "Valle Imagna nel Cuore" project, which animates seven municipalities in the Valle Imagna, in the province of Bergamo, from June to August. Rota d'Imagna, the valley's main tourist centre (around 940 inhabitants, at an altitude of 800 metres), hosts the festival in its historic centre, along via Vittorio Emanuele.
Shows, flavours, and fun
From the afternoon, the town transforms into a large open-air stage: shows, the Bimbobell show, street artists, inflatables, face painting for children, and show cooking liven up the streets of the centre, alongside typical food stalls. An evening designed for all ages, blending entertainment and the valley's gastronomic traditions.
L'elisir de cort and the tourist passport
The theme of the evening is "L'elisir de cort", the typical hay grappa of Valle Imagna, a signature product of the area. At the end of the event, the tourist passport lottery takes place: those who have participated in at least five events of the "Valle Imagna nel Cuore" circuit can win a stay in the valley. This project, supported by the Lombardy Region, unites the municipalities of Valle Imagna in promoting the territory, its traditions, and its talents.
Notte Bianca Rota d'Imagna — edition 2026
For 2026, the Notte Bianca in Rota d'Imagna is scheduled for August 16, starting from 4:00 PM, in the historic centre along via Vittorio Emanuele. It is the concluding event of the "Valle Imagna nel Cuore" project, which from June to August involves seven municipalities in the valley - Palazzago, Brumano, Sant'Omobono Terme, Bedulita, Berbenno, Fuipiano, and Rota d'Imagna.
The evening offers shows, the Bimbobell show, street artists, inflatables, face painting for children, show cooking, and typical food stalls, with the theme of "L'elisir de cort", the valley's hay grappa. At the end of the event, the tourist passport lottery will take place for a stay in Valle Imagna. The complete programme is available for download from the event page.
