One of the most spectacular festivals of the summer takes place on the seafront of Loano: the Sagra del Crostolo. The stars are crostoli, the traditional sweet fried dough, and fugassin, the Ligurian fried focaccias, prepared in a gigantic pan over two meters wide. Three evenings of taste, the aroma of frying, and celebration by the sea, in the heart of the Riviera di Ponente.

The Sagra del Crostolo is a traditional gastronomic festival in Loano, on the Riviera Ligure di Ponente, in the province of Savona. It celebrates crostoli — typical sweet fried dough — and fugassin, the Ligurian fried focaccias, symbols of the region's humble yet delicious cuisine.
