Bema's Summer Festival

The Sagra Bemina is the summer festival that enlivens the village of Bema every second Sunday of August. Bema is a small municipality in Valtellina, in the province of Sondrio, nestled within the Valtellina Orobie Park. It's a day that involves the entire village, blending religious observance with conviviality and celebration.

Between Faith and Conviviality

The day begins with participation in Holy Mass and continues with lunch and dinner featuring typical Valtellina products, prepared by Pro Loco volunteers. The hearty mountain cuisine is the common thread of a festival that brings together residents, returning emigrants, and visitors.

Games, Exhibitions, and Music

Alongside the gastronomy, the program includes games, exhibitions, and musical entertainment that liven up the village streets throughout the day. It's a simple and familiar atmosphere, typical of festivals in small Alpine villages, where everything is managed by the community.

Bema and the Orobie Mountains

Organized by Pro Loco Bema, active since 1984 in promoting the village and its territory, the Sagra Bemina is one of the festivals that mark the village's calendar. It's an opportunity to discover a little-known and authentic corner of Valtellina, in the heart of the Orobie Park, in the province of Sondrio.
